Alex Telles is a retired Brazilian professional footballer who played as a defender for clubs in the Serie A and Bundesliga. He was born on August 24, 1966, in São Paulo, Brazil.

Telles began his career with Santos FC, where he made his professional debut in 1985. He then went on to play for several other Brazilian clubs including Flamengo, Fluminense, and Palmeiras. In 1997, he moved to Germany and joined VfB Stuttgart, where he helped the team win the German Cup that year.

In 2001,Football Circle Collection Telles signed for Bayern Munich, where he spent five seasons before moving to Borussia Dortmund in 2006. He also played for Wolfsburg, Hertha Berlin, and Hannover 96 during his career.

Despite retiring from playing professionally in 2014, Telles continued to be involved in football by working as a coach. He became the head coach of São Paulo F.C. in 2017, but was sacked in 2018 after just three months in charge.
