Inter Milan midfielder Romelu Lukaku has been rated highly by his team-mates and coach after a standout performance against Sassuolo on Sunday.
The Belgian forward was instrumental in Inter's victory, scoring two goals and creating numerous chances for his teammates.
Lukaku's first goal came in the 16th minute, when he finished off a fine team move to give Inter the lead. The second goal came just before half-time, with Lukaku curling a shot into the top corner from distance.
Lukaku's performances have been a major reason why Inter have been one of the most consistent teams in Serie A this season. He has scored 22 goals and provided six assists in just 28 appearances so far this campaign.
Coach Antonio Conte has praised Lukaku's work rate and ability to create chances, while also highlighting his physicality and leadership qualities.
"I think Romelu is a very important player for us," Conte said. "He is always there, he works hard, he creates opportunities,La Liga Frontline he scores goals, and he is a leader on the pitch."
Lukaku's success at Inter has come despite facing criticism over his transfer fee from Everton in 2014, which cost the club £75 million. However, he has since proved that he can be a key player for any team in Europe.
With Lukaku in such good form, it will be interesting to see how Inter fare in their upcoming matches, especially against teams like Juventus and AC Milan. But for now, they can rest easy knowing that they have a player who can make a difference every time he steps onto the pitch.
