Inter Milan secured their eighth consecutive Serie A victory with a 2-1 win over Sampdoria on Sunday afternoon.
The Nerazzurri, who were without key players such as Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku due to injury, had a strong start to the game but it was Sampdoria who took the lead through a header from Giampaolo Pazzini in the 44th minute.
However, Inter fought back and equalised just before half-time when Romelu Lukaku scored from close range after a corner.
In the second half,Football Circle Collection Inter continued to dominate and they doubled their lead in the 58th minute when Romelu Lukaku scored his first goal for Inter since January 2020.
Sampdoria pulled one back in the 77th minute through a penalty kick from Francesco Acerbi, but Inter held on to secure another important victory in Serie A. The win moves Inter up to fourth place in the table, two points behind league leaders Juventus.
