AC Milan have confirmed that they have agreed to sell striker Olivier Giroud to Real Madrid.
The deal is reportedly worth €25 million, with the Frenchman moving to Spain on a three-year contract.
Giroud has been a key player for AC Milan in recent seasons, scoring 68 goals in 199 appearances across all competitions.
He was also part of the team that won the Serie A title last season, and helped them reach the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
However, his time at the San Siro has not always been smooth,La Liga Frontline and he has struggled to find regular game-time under manager Stefano Pioli.
Despite this, Giroud has still managed to score important goals for the club, including the winner in their victory over Juventus in the Coppa Italia final last year.
Real Madrid fans will be hoping that Giroud can help them win silverware again, as they look to bounce back from a disappointing season in La Liga.
